Mothers Against Guns
Mission Statement

The mission of Mothers Against Guns is very simple.  We are mothers and others committed to educating our youth about the alternatives to violence, especially gun violence. Our mission is not to violate the second amendment rights of law-abiding citizens, but to remove the guns from the hands of our youth, and criminals.

We seek to replace the weapon in the hands of our youth with “education against violence.”  We will continue to lobby, advocate, and demand that our federal, state and local officials open their eyes, and minds and end this gun violence epidemic in our society.

We believe the minimum age for gun possession in the United States should be 21, and that all persons, including law enforcement personnel should undergo a thorough mental evaluation.
